OK... CDE Lightband has started offering TV and internet services here in Clarksville, Tennessee. They are offering some great packages too. As any new service, there can be glitches in the system.  I'm looking to see what others think of this new service here in Clarksville. The 3-0 Tennessee Titans are looking to continue their lead in the AFC South this week with a win over the 1-2 Minnesota Vikins at LP Field.  The Tennessee Titans currently hold a 2 game lead over their division rivals Indianapolis Colts , Jacksonville Jaguars and the trailing Houston Texans

 The titans are off to a great start this year and with Kerri Collins at Quarterback, things are looking positive.If The titans continue to improve their game, look out AFC... The titans could be back in the Super Bowl once again.

If a home owner has a Fannie Mae loan and is in the rears with their mortgage payments, there is new hope. The HomeSaver Advance is a new Loss Mitigation option for delinquent mortgages.

With this program a home owner can have the mortgage brought to a current status and then sign a promisary note for a 15 year loan at a 5% interest rate. The first payment is not due for 6 months and no interest will occur during this time for the promisary note.

This program is set up for qualified home owners who are currently behind on their payment and have the ability to make regular payments. there are some restrictions to this program and can be found in the link above.

 When driving up and down Clarksville's 41A - Fort Campbell Blvd just outside of gate 1, there is one sign that stands out and is familular to many. This is the sign for Bo's Barber Shop. 

When it's time for a hair cut in Clarksville and Ft Campbell, Kentucky, Bo's Barber Shop is the place to go.

The sign out from has a great Salute to the man that has touch many people here in Clarksville and Ft Campbell. During the 1st gulf deployment some of the soldiers even made a sign that read Afgan Bo's, But where is Bo ? This sign hangs inside the barber shop along with all the Andy Griffith pictures !

This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words, "You have breast cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, and I hope you will join me.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is our opportunity to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and support programs to help fight breast cancer. But Making Strides is more than just the name of a walk, it describes the amazing progress we can make if we work together to defeat this disease.

They are County employees who are appointed by the County Mayor to advise Veterans and their dependents of all rights, privileges, immunities, and benefits to which they may be entitled.

In some parts of the state more than 50% of the gas stations are out ouf fuel. We have been fortunate here in Clarksville, Tennessee. I just can't seen to figure of a ryme or reason for the differneces in fuel prices. Tonight I had to make the venture to get fuel and of course Murphy's USA / Wal*Mart has the cheapest fuel on Wilma Rudolph Blvd at $3.88.... well with the Wal*Mart gift card it's only $3.85 while just across the street at Shell, the price was $4.19 and just up the street the other Shell was out of fuel. As I went to take the picture the fuel truck just arrived.

Again... Murphy's USA / Wal*Mart has the best fuel prices on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Just across the Kentucky State line is another story... See below.

Now as we cross the Kentucky state line the price dropped to only $3.57 at the Pilot Fuel Center... But what about the Shell station just across the street...... Oh My... It is $4.19. How can there be such a HUGE price differnce ?

Attendees vote on the Best in each category. Date: Thursday October 9, 2008   Location: Saturn of Clarksville Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Clarksville, TN     Phone: (877) 399-3463   Schedule: The event will take place from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM with voting stopping at 7:00 PM.  The fireworks show will begin at 7:00 PM.
